Peg 2
(Maximum 2 People)
Peg 2 can be fished overnight and is now a spacious double peg following recent upgrades, with plenty of room for rod pods or banksticks. While ideal for a single bivvy overnight, it can comfortably accommodate two anglers during the day.
The swim is similar in nature to Peg 1, with a small open water area, a margin to the left, and several islands out in front. Fishing here is generally short range, and this area has often seen some of the lake’s “Big ’Uns” basking on the surface during the warmer months. Work has also been carried out in the water to allow those skilled – or brave enough – to fish tight to the islands.
A new shelter has also been added to Peg 2. Suspended partially over the water so it doesn’t take up peg space, it provides a comfortable spot to relax while still keeping an eye on the water. Inside there’s a full-length bench with space for your chair, two full-length shelves ideal for cooking or rig tying, twin USB charging ports powered by a solar panel with battery backup, and a night light.
Parking for Peg 2 is located just around the corner from the swim.
