Peg 9
(Maximum 2 People)
Peg 9 sits where the water overflows from the match lake into the specimen lake, creating an interesting area with plenty of features to target. From this peg you can fish to islands, open water, and tight margins, although the margins can be snaggy in places due to the overhanging trees that line the bank.
With the use of backleads or slack lines, this peg can also be comfortably fished by two anglers, making it a good option for a bit of social fishing.
The peg is mainly covered with stone and benefits from parking directly behind the swim, making access with your gear easy and convenient.
The recent upgrades to this peg are now complete. The old grate has been removed and the peg has been widened and lowered to the water’s edge, providing a much better platform for positioning rod pods or banksticks and allowing you to keep your bivvy closer to your rods — especially useful when fishing the left-hand margin.

Island margin to the right seperating The Pipe and Fingers. Islands out front.

Still a bit more work to do here to make it even more spacious.

The right margin. Nice cut through needs to be fished tight up.
