Pegs 3, 4 & 5
(Maximum 3 individual anglers or upto a group of 4)

The Long Bank was the first area of the lake to benefit from the recent upgrades. The bank has been widened while still keeping its original shape, creating a much more comfortable area to fish from.

This stretch now caters perfectly for multi-rod carp anglers and overnight sessions, with plenty of room for even the largest bivvies. Each peg also benefits from its own shelter, ideal for cooking, brewing up, tying rigs, or simply relaxing while keeping an eye on the water. Peg 3’s shelter also features twin USB charging ports powered by a large solar panel, along with a night light.

These swims offer a variety of fishing options, including margins, open water, and several islands. Major snags have now been removed to improve fish safety and allow anglers to fish safely into the island channels. There are plenty of gravel areas here along with some productive silt patches.

The entire stretch has been finished with chip bark for added comfort. It also offers a great area of water whether you’re fishing as a group across the bank or as individual anglers.

The bank has now been clearly divided into three defined swims, with fencing along the bank and markers on the islands to show each swim’s boundaries.

Parking for Pegs 3 and 4 is located near the end of Peg 5.

Peg 5 was the next swim to be redesigned, with the high sandbanks dug out and levelled to create a much more spacious and accessible area for both overnight anglers and day-ticket visitors.

Like the Long Bank, this peg also benefits from a wooden shelter. Inside you’ll find shelves on either side, perfect for cooking, rig tying, or simply keeping your gear organised. The shelter is equipped with twin USB charging ports powered by a large solar panel with battery backup, along with a night light for added convenience. The peg itself has also been finished with chip bark.

Located directly opposite Peg 8, this swim fishes into the same large body of water and offers plenty of options. You can target several islands, fish the open water, or work the known snag areas, including those in the open water and in the right-hand bay.
