Peg 8 is a spacious, low-to-the-water swim that can be fished either solo or socially with a friend. There’s plenty of room here to comfortably fish up to six rods, making it a great option for longer sessions.

The swim offers a variety of features to target, including islands, snags, and open water. Since the removal of the fallen tree on the right-hand side, anglers can now also fish the right-hand margin, opening up even more options. The peg itself is finished with chip bark for added comfort.

Located directly opposite Pegs 6 and 7, Peg 8 also benefits from parking right behind the peg, making it easy to load and unload your gear.

The peg has recently been extended both out front and to the side, creating a much larger casting and landing platform. This upgrade has significantly increased the overall size of the swim, meaning it can now comfortably accommodate two large double bivvies, weighing tripods, cradles or mats, with plenty of room to spare.

The extra space also provides multiple rod placement options, whether you prefer using a rod pod or banksticks, and it easily caters for six rods when fishing with a friend.

Peg 8 also features its own shelter with seating, allowing you to keep an eye on the water while cooking, tying rigs, or simply relaxing.
